What makes it different

Real science.
Real courage.
.

Every Charlotte & Henry adventure is built around a real place — and the real science that makes it extraordinary. Kids don't just read a story. They learn something true about the world.

🔬Woven-in STEM facts

Science feels like part of the story, not a lesson — because it is.

🌍Real places, real wonder

From the Mariana Trench to Mount Everest — geography comes alive.

💛Courage as a theme, not a lesson

Charlotte goes anyway. That's the whole lesson.

About the Author:

I'm Andrew Signore — an ICU nurse, a former camp counselor, and the uncle of a little girl named Charlotte.

When Charlotte was born, I started writing for her. Not a book at first — just words. It grew into a 12-chapter story about a girl who goes to the deepest place on Earth with her dog. The science is real. The places are real. Henry is real.

I've hiked from Jiri to Everest Base Camp on the original Tenzing and Hillary route. I've crossed ladders over crevasses on Island Peak without supplemental oxygen. I've been underwater in the Socorro Islands with things far larger than myself. I didn't research these books from a desk — I went to the places first, and the books came after.

Charlotte & Henry isn't a product. It's a gift I made for someone I love, and it turns out the right book finds its reader.

I'm glad it found yours.
